Diamond began working as an unpaid intern at Gould Injury Law in 2014 while studying at Branford Hall. She joined the Gould Injury Law team in 2015 as an office assistant and has held many other positions with the company over the years, including Front Office Manager, Pre -Litigation Case Manager, Workers Compensation Case Manager, and Pre-Litigation Supervisor. Her favorite part of the job is training new staff while helping them learn and become more confident in their positions with the firm. When she is not working, which isn’t often, she enjoys kickboxing class, traveling, and spending time with her two cats. She recently received her Associates in Liberal Arts and is now working toward her Bachelors in Business Administration.Kiana Caraballo

Kiana Caraballo is our superstar Front Office Manager who keeps everything running smoothly. As a team player, Kiana “love(s) my Gould team! We are always there for each other and look out for one another on whatever it may be.” When she’s not at work, she loves to spend time with her son who keeps her strong and motivated. Kiana is an aspiring makeup artists and enjoys dressing up and looking beautiful.Joe Roy

As a native of New Haven, and life-long resident in the area, Joe knows just how to best help the people of Connecticut. As a graduate of the University of New Haven, Joe is intelligent, thoughtful, and meticulous about his approach to his cases. During his years at Gould Injury Law, Joe has “ come to appreciate the personable approach everyone here takes with our clients. This is a people first business, and that can often be lost in other places. Not here.”In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, listening to live music, and traveling.
Carey Brimmer
Pre-Litigation Case Manager
Carey is a detail-oriented, WWF wrestling buff who was previously named the Gould Injury Law Employee of Year. As a lifelong resident of Connecticut, he has a tremendous amount of experience is various positions throughout the state. After studying Communications at Central Connecticut State University, Carey spent time hosting a local radio show before becoming a paralegal in 2012. Now living in Stamford with his wife and son, Carey often works remotely from his home office. Carey loves working for Gould Injury Law because he “enjoys working with a diverse group of people who all work hard together to get the best results possible.”Catherine Veenstra

Catherine who was recently named in the Who’s Who of America, has many years of experience as a paralegal in the Personal Injury world. Coming to us from the defense side, she has a unique perspective that she brings to her cases. As part of the Litigation team, she works closely with her attorneys to be sure justice prevails as fast as possible. Catherine earned her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Saint Joseph and her Paralegal Certificate at the University of Hartford. In her free time, she, can be found in her art studio and spending time with friends and family, ideally at the beach or at a park.
