Terri Simmons

Case Manager

With over 10 years of plaintiff’s personal injury experience, Terri has seen it all and can handle everything related to your case. As an added benefit, Terri is incredibly patient and thoughtful and within moments you’ll feel like you’re speaking to an old friend.   She is a lifetime New Haven resident with a large extended family that she loves spending time with.  In her free time, Terri enjoys listening to live music, singing karaoke, travelling, and being at church.  Terri’s guiding philosophy is that “God is always victorious, so I stay on His side.”

Ishel Gutierrez

Litigation Case Manager

Ishel Gutierrez is a paralegal who recently joined our team. Ishel is a first generation American whose parents are from Colombia, and she is fluent in both English and Spanish.  Ishel’s proficiency in Spanish has allowed her a unique perspective into the lives of the firm’s Spanish speaking clients. Ishel is a 2013 graduate of the University of Bridgeport, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Science with a concentration in Criminal Justice and has been working in the Legal Field ever since.  After starting out in criminal law and gaining experience doing Habeas work, Ishel decided to concentrate her focus on personal injury law.  Ishel is also a licensed Notary Public. In her spare time, Ishel enjoys going on hikes, eating out, and spending time with her husband, Manny and her dog, Logan.

Yasmin DiRienzo

Senior Litigation Case Manager

Yasmin began her legal career at a commercial real estate company in New York City in 2000.  After she moved to CT in 2009, she began working in defense litigation for insurance companies and learned NY, CT, NJ, PA, and Rhode Island law and continued until 2021 when she joined The Win Fast team. She’s been a superstar since she stopped defending insurance companies and began helping our clients win against them. In her free time, Yas likes to read, travel, and spend time with her loved ones.

Diamond Meluzzi-Davila

Closing Specialist

Diamond began working as an unpaid intern at Gould Injury Law in 2014 while studying at Branford Hall. She joined the Gould Injury Law team in 2015 as an office assistant and has held many other positions with the company over the years, including Front Office Manager, Pre -Litigation Case Manager, Workers Compensation Case Manager, and Pre-Litigation Supervisor. Her favorite part of the job is training new staff while helping them learn and become more confident in their positions with the firm. When she is not working, which isn’t often, she enjoys kickboxing class, traveling, and spending time with her two cats. She recently received her Associates in Liberal Arts and is now working toward her Bachelors in Business Administration.

Carey Brimmer

Senior Case Manager

Carey is a detail-oriented, WWF wrestling buff who was previously named the Gould Injury Law Employee of Year. As a lifelong resident of Connecticut, he has a tremendous amount of experience is various positions throughout the state. After studying Communications at Central Connecticut State University, Carey spent time hosting a local radio show before becoming a paralegal in 2012. Now living in Stamford with his wife and son, Carey often works remotely from his home office. Carey loves working for Gould Injury Law because he “enjoys working with a diverse group of people who all work hard together to get the best results possible.”

Megan Ross

Case Manager

Megan was raised out in Torrington and went on to study at Quinnipiac University. After graduating, she found success as a personal injury paralegal at plaintiff’s law firms in Pennsylvania and Florida before deciding to return home to Connecticut and joining the Gould Injury Law Team. A very active woman, Megan enjoys yoga and playing with her two French bulldogs.
