As Senior Trial Attorney at Gould Injury Law, Gordon Goldsmith handles all aspects of cases, from pre-litigation negotiations to jury and bench trials. A former trial attorney at a Waterbury-based personal injury firm and two Fortune 500 companies with major personal property and casualty insurance lines, Gordon has significant experience handling all phases of litigation from case inception to resolution, including serving as lead counsel on nearly fifty jury trials, having achieved winning verdicts in most of those trials.  

Overseeing a variety of personal injury claims and lawsuits, Gordon has cross-examined dozens of medical experts, deposed hundreds of adverse parties, and participated in numerous arbitrations, mediations, and settlement conferences, ultimately leading to successful resolution of many complex cases. Gordon’s Trial expertise was highlighted at Connecticut Trial Lawyers’ Association’s 2025 “Verdicts” Dinner, where Gordon was one of three attorneys chosen to discuss their respective winning verdicts. 

Gordon Goldsmith received his undergraduate degree in Public Management from Indiana University in 2003 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2007. Gordon was a Presidential Scholarship Award Recipient at Indiana University, and an active participant in several clubs and organizations during his time at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He has been licensed to practice law in Connecticut Superior Court since 2008 and United States District Court (Connecticut) since 2025. 

Gordon's commitment to providing passionate, competent, and effective representation to all members of society is further reflected by his extensive and diverse history outside of the courtroom and classroom. After graduating from Indiana University, Gordon joined AmeriCorps, devoting one full year as volunteer supervisor for Indiana Legal Services, a non-profit law firm in Bloomington, Indiana, that’s dedicated to providing pro bono legal representation to financially vulnerable community members. During his time at Pitt Law, Gordon served as a student advocate, representing undergraduate students before campus judicial panels.  

Gordon also spent several years as an attorney representative on the State of Connecticut Judicial Grievance Panel for Fairfield County, a judicially appointed position responsible for assisting the adjudication of grievance complaints filed against attorneys. Gordon has also served as a Community Member Representative on the School Governance Council at Central High School in Bridgeport.  

In his spare time, Gordon enjoys volunteering with Connecticut Food Bank and Habitat for Humanity, participating in a variety of athletic and outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.
